Starting CineCenter
To launch CineCenter, double-click the
CineCenter icon on the desktop. Optionally, during installation, the Setup Program asked if you would like CineCenter to launch automatically when you start Windows. This can be useful if this is a Home Theater PC and its primary function is for serving movies and music as part of your entertainment system.
When you start CineCenter for the first time you may be asked if you would like to Add Movies into your collection. The Add Movies Wizard will give you a head start in building your movie collection. By choosing a folder that contains your movies CineCenter will create a list of these files and a list of Suggested Titles*.
* Suggested Titles are based on the filename of the movie file, not the content of the file. Typically, movie files are named according to the title of movie. It is recommended that you name your movie video files as the movie title and year, (e.g., "Movie Title (2009).avi" ). The Add Movies Wizard creates the suggested title based on this naming convention.
